QLD 19 OCT: JobShow Sunshine Coast

October 11, 2016

This week, on Wednesday 19 October, the JobShow expo will be visiting the Sunshine Coast at Queensland TAFE’s Mooloolaba campus.

The JobShow is not a traditional careers expo that provides students with information about career options for jobs at some point in the future.

The event provides a unique opportunity for retailers to exhibit their business and put themselves front and centre to jobseekers in the Sunshine Coast region. In addition to putting you in touch with candidates for the jobs you wish to fill, the event also provides a great opportunity to network with other exhibitors and provide new business opportunities.

Attendees will be able to list as many jobs as they wish, for less than the cost of a Seek advertisement. If you’re interested in obtaining a booth at the JobsShow, all you need to do is pay the difference between the Virtual Exhibitor cost and the booth cost.

When you list a job, it will be distributed throughout the JobShow social platforms, directly marketed to the JobShow database, and listed on the JobsShow jobs board. Potential candidates will be matched directly to the job you list and you will be put in contact with the top candidates.

If you are unable to unable to attend in person, or feel that your method of recruitment better fitted to the digital world, you are able to showcase your business as a ‘Virtual Exhibitor’. This will enable you to list your jobs on the JobShow website and JobsBoard.

Exhibitors include:

  • Public, private and community sector businesses and employers
  • Business start-up and entrepreneurship support organisations
  • Recruitment and labour hire companies and Group Training Organisations
