Nominations are open for the National Retail Association’s (NRA) Rewards for Excellence 2016.
Rewards for Excellence aims to acknowledge and reward individuals and businesses in the retail sector that are thought leaders in their field, whilst promoting the diversity of viable career opportunities in an ever evolving industry.
The NRA recently caught up with last year’s Small Retailer of the Year winner John Haywood from Sleep Doctor and Holy Sheet to discuss what he enjoyed most about being a part of the 2015 awards program.
“It helped us think about how we do business, and how we look after our customer. We looked from top to bottom how we did business and how are customer looked at us.” Mr Haywood said.
“We were so happy to win, it took months to stop telling ever customer. Now we have it on our front desk and on our web sites and at least each day we tell someone about it. It has help us understand our business and even more has helped us win customers.”
