Government encourages young entrepreneurs

February 10, 2017

The Department of Employment’s ‘Encouraging Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment Initiative‘ is designed to support Australians, particularly young people, who want to start their own business.

Four key measures make up the Encouraging Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment Initiative, which is part of the broader Youth Employment Package announced in the 2016-2017 Budget. The four key measures include:

Entrepreneurship Facilitators

Entrepreneurship Facilitators work in three high youth unemployment areas promoting entrepreneurship as a way for young people to create their own job. The facilitators help young people considering starting a small business to get their idea up and running. Find out more here>>
